Benefietconcert ‘Moeders Mooiste’

Verlies van een moeder is altijd hard. Nog harder als dat ten gevolge is van kanker, veel te vroeg weggerukt uit het leven. Aan de vooravond van Moederdag brengt Arion daarom samen met twee andere Leuvense koren Camerata Aetas Nova en Organum een concert opgedragen aan alle moeders van wie er al afscheid genomen moest worden. In het bijzonder ter nagedachtenis van Rit Carlier (mama van koorlid Hannelore) en Conny Maaskant en Martin Van Boom (mama en papa van Organum-dirigente Monique). Zij lieten het leven na een zware strijd tegen kanker, en kregen door de coronacrisis nog niet het muzikale afscheid dat wij hen hadden willen geven.
